We always have event nights lined up, they give Tom a break from the norm, a chance to use other ingredients that he loves to cook with and a chance to really show off what he can do with them.
11th March 2020 - The Staith House Fish Bonanza
The guys at the Staith House on the quayside in North Shields are fellow Top50 Gastropubbers and have held a Michelin Bib Gourmand for the last 5 years. Last year our Tom went up to North Shields and cooked a Lancashire feast for their customers, this is the return leg.
Being on the Quayside and having direct access to whatever is being landed means they are very good at cooking fish so we’re keeping it simple and doing a fish night loosely based around tapas style food.

18th March 2020 – Guess who’s back, Oli’s back
This time last year Oli Martin was fresh off the back of coming second on Masterchef the Professionals. His reputation is still growing and the value of his stock is going up. In 2019 Hipping Hall (where he is Head Chef) gained 4 AA Rosettes’ and won both Lancashire Life and Marketing Lancashire Restaurant of the Year.
It’s impressive stuff so if you want to come to a night featuring a tasting menu devised by Tom and Oli who are both bang on trend and cooking sublime food then this is the one for you.

As the saying goes, there’s a fine line between genius and madness.
The last time Nigel cooked with us, it was bordering on madness when he decided to cook a Japanese banquet.
This time, it can only be described as genius. Tom and Nigel, 2 of the best chefs in the North of England devising and creating a tasting menu featuring the luxury ingredient caviar in every course.
Priced at £100 / head, its an absolute bargain thanks to sponsorship from our supplier Petrossian Caviar.
