We’re reaching the end of the year and we have organised plenty of event nights on to help celebrate the Christmas season and see 2027 in in style.

There is a list of our special events below along with our opening times so dive in a get your table.

Important Notice: We are a turkey free zone throughout December – unless it’s a special event night our usual seasonal menu will apply.

December at The White Swan

Thursday 3^rd, Thursday 10^th and Tuesday 15^th December – Choir Nights

We start with our annual ‘12 Days of Christmas’ celebration, it’s so popular it runs over 3 weeks.

You sit down and relax while we serve a 5 course menu. The amazing Burnley Municipal Choir slowly filter in, they wet their whistle’s and before you know it, our little pub has come alive as the sound of Christmas reverberates around the walls.

Sunday 6^th December – Wagyu Beef Sunday

As delicious as it sounds, our 4 course set menu featuring a main course of Wagyu beef. With appropriate sides.

Sunday 20^th December – Christmas Super Sunday

Pre-Christmas family dinner sorted.

Christmas and New Year

Thursday 24^th December – Christmas Eve

Once you’ve sorted out the last minute emergencies (like remembering that you’ve got 6 people coming for Christmas day lunch but you only have 5 chairs!). Come and enjoy a relaxing 5 course menu with us.

Price £89 per head

Lunch is 12:00 – 1;20pm

Dinner is 5:20pm – 8:40pm

Friday 25^th December – Christmas Day

A very special menu for a very special day.

If you’d like us to take care of Christmas dinner this year, we’d love to see you. You’ll still have to sort out the Christmas presents but at least we can do the cooking and washing up.

Old favourites returning for you to enjoy, its like sitting in your favourite old chair with the best book you’ve ever read whilst the fire crackles at your feet.

Dinner - Special Lancashire Night 5 course menu

A simple idea, a menu inspired by the best local products surrounding us, some of the best products in the country treated with the respect they deserve by Tom.

Lunch – Normal 4 course menu - £69 per head. Service 12:00 – 1:20pm

Dinner – Special French classics

A 5 course tasting menu with Tom taking inspiration from his classical training to produce an outstanding menu with a definite French feel, Tres Bons.

Dinner – Special 3 course Steak & Lobster Menu
